Benjamin A. Gilman Scholarship (up to $5k)
Almost all of Diversity Global’s non-short term programs (including all of our Language and Cultural Institutes) are designed to be eligible for funding through the Gilman Scholarship. The Gilman Scholarship Program, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs is an undergraduate program for U.S. citizens of limited financial means to enable them to study abroad, thereby internationalizing their outlook and better preparing them to thrive in the global economy. For spring and summer programs, the early application (highly recommended!) closes at the beginning of October, with the later application period between mid-January and early March. If you are a Pell Grant recipient, you absolutely need to apply for this scholarship!
Critical Language Supplement to the Gilman Scholarship (up to $3k in addition to the Gilman)
All of Diversity Global’s Language and Cultural Institutes are eligible for the Critical Language Supplement to the Gilman Scholarship. For our Summer Institutes, the Gilman Scholarship plus this Critical Language Supplement can cover 100% of the program cost. If you are a Pell Grant recipient, please, please, apply for this scholarship!
